| What are your responsibilities during the expedition? | Most of it we share, but my focus is on making sure the education program is in perfect shape! | We both do a bit of everything, but officially my role is 'expedition leader', so it's my responsibility to get us from A to B |
| What are your 'chores' during the expedition? | I'll do most of the campsite set up, and probably most of the cleaning (if we leave that up to Patrick, most of the times it will be a total mess) | I'll cook most of the times, and do the routine checks on the car |
| What's your favourite food? | Cesar salad, chicken pesto pasta, mussels and Thai curry | A nice piece of meat, or oysters, paté, escargots (snails), gratin,... I can make that list really long... |
| What's the strangest food you have ever eaten? | I ate guinea pig once, and kangaroo. I love trying all different kinds of food | I'll eat pretty much anything, but here are some of the strange ones - brain, jellyfish, grasshopper and crocodile |

| What kind of work did you do before you started Tire Tracks? | I first worked as an auditor, then became an operations consultant (helping companies work better and more efficiently). I also worked for internet start-up in Amsterdam. | I used to be a commercial strategy consultant, which is a fancy name for someone who advises companies on how they can sell more of their products |

I have a lot of favorites but one that I really liked was Alchemist- a story with lots of meaning and lessons in it. | One of my favorites is Nooit Meer Slapen- a Dutch book about a failed expedition in Norway. |
